[/b]N16 Ex 1.5 can only get Manual, Auto is F***ing underpowered... For the 1.5 M, Most of them can get between 12.5-15 km/l But it all boils down to your right foot.. If you want power... Forget abt sunny... City Vtec is quite a good car to drive... But IF you want good fuel economy... make sure you don't "Vtec" Basic Physics... Power = Fuel... The more power you get, the more fuel you drink... Resale value... because the City is "Made in Thailand", Resale value i believe will be quite jialetz. Currently on the market got flood of Nissan Sunny N16 for sale... Maybe you can get a good deal on 2nd hand market... I last heard the 1.5(M) going for $67,500 brand new... [/img]
jp_sean SG i sae choose e nissan 1.5m. its is faster in terms of acceleration den e 1.5A. n on e other hand, it has a higher resale value n lower fuel consumption den e honda city vtec.
erks SG Thank you all for your comments. Appreciate them a lot. I went to test drive the nissan today. Feel that the car like too big for me leh. Deen feel this way in the Honda city. Also test drive the hyundai accent 1.5. The accent and the honda seems more powerful than the nissan sunny 1.5ex. Also the nissan seems a little above budget for me. So now is between the city vtec and the accent 1.5. HOW? I hope you guys can tell me more about the accent 1.5 (M). It's flaws and good pts...... Thanx a million
DaKaR SG Nissan Sunny N16 side by side with Galant... Like almost similar sized, Hyundai Accent i heard fuel consumption quite jialetz... If Nissan have been "Scraped" I would highly reccomend the Honda City then... I think the Accent will have WORSE resale value as compared to City... just my 2 cents worth
erks SG [okie......guess itz the honda city then. Like the drive of the car too. the Vtec feeling is damn shoik la. The accent is well below my budget though. Looks like i'll have to look through my finances and make a final decision. Will keep you guys updated on what car i'm getting.
Ah Wei SG Hi erks, My reply might be a bit late but my advise is get the Honda City!!! Go for it The car is not made in Thailand i think (not 100% sure). The parts are from Japan but assemble in Thailand, just like the Toyota Soluna. But still, its a Honda afterall. The quality is still there.
erks SG Hey everyone, i strongly believe that all honda makes are made and assembled in japan. Only City, being honda's only budget car, is assembled in thailand. So is Toyota soluna......
erks SG erks , do u know wats the down payment for a 2nd hand lancer and honda civic car? Well, the down payment is usually 10% of the asking price which includes your driveaway for cars less than 10 years old(usually termed as parf cars) However, there are a couple of dealers who can work 'magic' for you. You could probably driveaway the above cars for about 3 - 4 K, depending on the age of the car. Some cars which high paper value (high coe) can even be driven away with 2K. Got some contacts..... let me know if you are interest than i private msg you my number....
erks SG Dear all Don't know if you guys still interested.... Well, i got the accent after all. Got it only 3K above paper value. COE is a high 44k so don't need to worry about resale value. Pay around one and a half years can get money back liao. Very petrol saving and comfortable car. Can't say much bout the power though. Pick up is a little draggy. but the car damn stable even at 140km/h. Deen know hyundai cars so power one. Think the koreans have improved tremedously. so don't look down on hyundai ok!! BTW any ideas on how to increase pick up??
